Excel - Shared Workbook

Hi, We had a shared book which was working fine for quite
sometime. Then suddenly one day, when we opened the file
we got a message "File is locked. In order to save changes
to the file,you can either close the file before making
any changes and then re-open it, use Save As (File menu)to
save the file using another filename, or turn off Shared
Workbooks and then save the file" I am not able to save
this file in any way. I have checked the file attributes,
the working directory permissions etc. They are all ok.
Can you please help identifying what has gone wrong.

Hi Indrojit,

One thing that you can try is to open your worbook as well as a new
blank workbook. Copy and paste your data to the blank workbook and save
it when you are finished.
