Help - Service Pack 2 destroyed Explorer

Hi there, i just installed Service Pack 2 for window's XP and the install
process went as planned when a full restart was done i tried opening My
Computer

This didnt work, i tried opening control panel, Start->Run->C:, My network
places etc. none of these worked

Additionally i noticed that when i attempted to run anything that used
windows explorer a process called Dr. Watson came up... this then returned an
error message that the Dr. Watson debugger had suffered a serious error and
needed to close.

Could you please help me with my predicament.
