Help! Ran auto update now problems

I just ran the optional update having to do with the Windows Genuine
Advantage Notification. It was verified that it was genuine, but now I am
unable to launch some of my other applications such as my Kodak software that
goes with my digital camera. Is there anyway and an "unupdate" for lack of a
better word?

there's a freeware called something
like wga removal tool.

it wouldn't hurt to use it...
