help please!!!

i was given a pc..it has windows 2000 profesional in
it..it has restricions on it..i have no idea how to make
the pc accept what i want on it..such a msn messenger it
will not allow me to download it..i was told about
sonetjing i could download from microsoft but i am not
sure what i is..is there any way someone can help me!!

Have you tried logging in as an Administrator and trying it ?

Try logging onto your system with the following
credentials:

Username: Administrator
Passoword:

Enter no password and see if you can gain access to the
system. If you are unable to do this then you will more
than likely need to reinstall your operating system to get
around this.

Could you please clarify the problem you are having?
Did you forget the administrator password, or did you intentionally leave it
blank and it fails to logon with a blank password? Also, are you logging on
locally, or through a Terminal Server session?
