HELP! no longer accepting product key

hi there
i just temporarily removed and then reinstalled my DVD re-writer drive and
now i am being told that i need to re-activate windows. However, when i put
in my product key i am informes that i have re-activated windows too many
times with this product key.
HELP!!

Call the telephone number that is on the activation screen.

Use the activate by phone option. If there is a problem with the activation
they will talk you through it.

Call MS and get a key that works.

HELP!!

All OEM versions of XP must now be "activated" by phone. The Internet
activations have been turned off because several "branded" OEM versions (like
Dell, HP or IBM) were being sold separate from the qualifying "name brand" PCs.
