Help! My home page as changed without my consent

Hello! everytime I open up my Browser my homepage displays
a site which i've not specified. I've tried changing the
setting by going to, tools Internet Options, General and
changing the home page but the problem still
persists.....ANY ADVICE, I'M DESPERATE!

Did it just go this way without you doing anything or installing
anything? If it just went that way on it's own you might want to have

download hijack this and see what it comes up with, I found it to be a
great tool

Hey- we just had that problem on our home PC and my
husband found a program called CW Shredder. The website
that "hijacked" our PC was CoolWebSearch. Apparently it's
pretty bad, so this CW Shredder is updated quite a bit.
