HELP! IE6 wont work when im connected to AOL 9.0

How do I get IE6 to be able to browse the internet when im connected to the
internet using AOL 9.0? Im able to browse within the AOL program but not
outside the program. Im thinking it has something to do with IE6 setting
under the connection tab. I use a dial up connection and under the "Dial up
and virtual private network" secting, AOL is not listed like I have seen
before using previous versions of AOL. IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME? I
HATE THE AOL BROWSER!!!

Are you getting an error when you signon to AOL that says

there is an Internet connection problem, to restart and
sign back on? If so, I am having hte same problem and am
searching for a solution. No one at AOL knows what to
do. Ifyou find something let me know, my e-mail address
