can anyone help me. I installed an renewal of my anti-virus software, and some how all my favorites are either gone or the few that remain are not working. I had really important information in there and I dont know where it all went. This is what I have tried, I went to restore to an earlier time then they all came back, but then my anti-virus renewal was gone, so I reinstalled that, then my favorites were all gone again. I dont now what to do, can somebody please help me?

1. Back up your data, including your favorites, to removable media (external
hard drive, DVD+/-R).

2. Contact the Mystery Antivirus company's tech support.

3. Or instead of #2, use a different antivirus. I recommend NOD32
(commercial) or Avast (free version).

You should be backing up regularly anyway because Stuff Happens.

I am still having problems, I have been having issues with my favorites folder before I did a renewal of my trend micro antivirus, so I am not sure if that was the problem, but it did not help anything either. After restarting my computer, all my favorites are now gone again. Everything else seems to be working fine, and I already paid for this renewal, so if I can somehow create a new favorites folder and start over I would be fine with that. But I do not know were to create this folder at. Can you help me with this? Thanks
