HELP! HELP!

Im have troubles with my sound I had sound before don't know what caused it specificley, but was having troubles with removing some game programs and went to instant online support and was given directions what to do, think it was in the config. well seems, this is when the sound stopped working I have tried restoring to earlier point nothing, and I am showing problem devices (which I never had before) multimedia audio controller says driver not installed for this device what went wrong I have went into control panel device manager and under sound,video... it shows ! yellow for audio multimedia controller and unknown device and when i try to bring up properties for these items it never responds (not responding) I have windows xp home can anyone help me please! I tried application to recover original driver shipped w pc it calls for installation cd is this the same as a recovery console cd?

Please help me please!!

1) stop begging...only works for girls.....
2) check and see if these speakers are plugged in.....
3) do something (ANYTHING) more constructive than playing games...like learn
some spelling.....you sure need it...
4) repeat all 3 above steps....

Try this: reboot tapping F8 until screen appears with multiple choices. Select Last good known configuration - enter select your os system enter. The computer should reboot and maybe everything will work.If it does not post problem again and we will try to help.

I was hoping this would work but when i did this it didn't give me any options to chose from for os system I'm no computer wiz should there be??
