help file and msconfig missing

B

After updating last month I am missing Help & Suppport in my Start window
and msconfig.exe when I try to find it in Run. I updated SP3 and security
updates on 11/22 and just recently found this problem when I tried to create
a restore point. I found Restore in Accessories > System Tools but am unable
to find msconfig.exe that will run.

Any thoughts or ideas.

Thanks,

Brian

Try rt clicking the Start Button and select
Properties>Customize>Advanced. Check the Help and Support box. Click Apply
Ok.
For msconfig go to C:\Windows\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries. Rt click
on msconfig.exe and select Send to desktop as shortcut.

Rich,

Thanks, 1 worked and 1did not. msconfir is on the desktop and Help and
Support is still missing.

I have viewed other solutions and so far none have worked. I will keep
researching as this appears to be a not so common problem.

Brian, did you check for Virus and Malware? If no, use Spybot Search
and Destroy and Adaware. Both are Free.
