HELP!!! Deleted my website from my computer

Dave

I accidently deleted my website from my laptop, which is where I was doing
all of my editing.
I would like to be able to download the website from the Web and back to my
computer to once again be able to download it and edit and publish. Is there
a way for me to do this? The site is still up and looking great.

Thnx,

Dave

You have to remove the webpage and webpages map from the webserver. So just
login to your ftp.server on Frontpage, the remove all files from your own
files and also from that webserver/ hotel you work from.

does that Reverse Publish pick up Everything the site uses? php
etc... there's a site I look after that has a Shopping cart within it
- so there area few files on the host server I wouldn't want to
miss...

I'v not considered this before - but I know, in My case... I'd love to
have a clean up!~ when a web site has been up for a while, and
undergone several 'makeovers' - you don't always delete images no
longer in-use - and they have built up over time! this R'P, might be
a way of getting a Clean copy of the site on my pc at least, and I can
look at republishing to the host at a later time - deleting all -
well... all images anyway... and reduce space, republishing only
active in-use files!
unless theres a better method.

If the site has the FP server extensions
- yes reverse publish will pick up all files/folders (use Publish ALL) in the root web
If the root web has FP subwebs make sure you select the Include Subwebs option

Was the site deleted from within Frontpage (if so, then it's gone for good)
or from Windows Explorer? If from Explorer, chances are the site is sitting
in the Recycle bin, you can just restore it to the original location.
