I just downloaded IE6 a week ago and am having some minor problems.
1) When I click "Delete Cookies" a box pops up, "Delete all cookies in the
Temporary Internet Files folder?" If cookies are in the TIF folder, what's
in the Cookies folder? And if I delete TIF, does that mean I'm deleting the
cookies in there too?
2) A few days ago I deleted both cookies and TIF. Now, on sites where I'm
registered, I'm having to log in every time I visit, except for one site
that recognizes me. I would have thought that once I log in, the process
would be automatic until I delete Cookies again. On IE5, I was always
deleting TIF and never had to log on to my registered sites.
I hope I was clear enough. What's going on and what can I do so I don't have
to constantly log on to these sites? I am using the default privacy setting
of Medium.
Thank you very much. If you are kind enough to reply, please use language
that an eight-year-old can understand, even though I'm a senior citizen.
