HELP! Can't connect to POP3

Hello I am running Windows Mail and have not used any other client. I had used Windows Mail successfully on this computer up until today when I added a new account to my computer under a different name. I was able to send a message but haven't tried again since I have gotten this message. The message says.

The host 'POP3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
Account: 'Mail', Server: 'POP3', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
