Help! Can send mail but not receive

When I hit receive mail I get the following error:
Account: 'Windows mail', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR not supported 2pf449649qwi.46', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

I am trying to setup my gmail account in Windows Mail. I can send email but
can't receive.

Setup Incoming Mail Server (POP3) pop.gmail.com

What am I doing wrong?

You are trying to use an option that server does not support.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."
