Help button has disappeared off of screen

Can someone tell me how to get the start icon back on my screen in addition
to the time, other icons (total bar at bottom). I tried going into toolbar
settings, resetting it, rebooting my computer and nothing. When it comes
back on it states program still running (because I can't sign out without the
start button) and the start button is still not here. Help!

Hi Colleen,

Make sure that your Anti-Virus is running at Boot. Also, run your chkdsk
at boot to check / fix the Hard Drive files.

Oh, you can sign out using Task Manager. Use the 3 finger salute (
Ctrl-Alt-Del) to bring up Task Manager. At the top, click on Shutdown and
then click Restart.

Is your Taskbar completely missing?

Also try this program called TuneUp Utilities 2006 @
http://www.tune-up.com/ It has the ability to fix the Taskbar, if need be.
