HELP Big problem that needs sorting please !

trojan horse downloader.stubby.A
is in my Temp folder my AVG ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE detects the
virus but cant seem to remove it.
is there anyway which i can get rid of this virus.
i am also denied access to my temp folder which is where
the virus is.
