Help - Autoplay won't work

I recently had my PC upgraded and now the autoplay will not work. After
reading messages posted on the newsgroups I downloaded autofix for autopaly
and ran this. I got the message "this autoplay setting cannot be fixed.
Either the device is malfunctioning or the wizard cannot determine the
problem". The device is my digital camera which is working perfectly as I
can view and copy my photos from it onto the hard drive via My Computer.
However, I want autoplay to work!!! Before I ran autofix the autoplay option
used to appear if I right-clicked on this drive (although it didn't work!)
and now it doesn't appear at all.

Help!

Best suggestion would be to take it back to whoever upgraded it and get them
to fix it for you.

I'm sorry that I can't help you, but...

Why???
You should be glad that it doesn't work. This is the first time I have heard
that anyone actually are missing autoplay!! This shitty thing that pops up
everytime you put any media into your drive.. I can't stand it!!

Isn't it bether to handle your photos fram the camera as a harddrive? Use
Windows Explorer as a part of your workflow and copy the whole lot into the
lokal hardrive. While waiting you prepear other things like i.e. starting
your editing program.
