Help and Support

A couple of months ago my Help and Support option stopped
working. Nothing else seems to be affected. I tried all
of the tweaks listed on Kelly's Korner, (http://www.kellys-
korner-xp.com/top10faqs.htm), and I still can't get it to
work. Do you have any suggestions?

To reinstall Help and Support: Go to
C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right click and choose
install. Have your CD handy.

This is a hidden folder: Go to Start/Run and type
in: control folders. View: Show hidden files and
folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types

Last, go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr - regserver

I have just installed a patch referred to from
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811630 and this fixed
the problem for me (even as I was searching this
newsgroup!!)
