Help! After Installing office 2003 SP2 Outlook Busines Contact Mnager failed and will not reinstall

Uncle John

I installed Office Professional 2003 Service pack 2 and subsequently in
Outlook the Business Contact Manager failed to open the data base and
failed. I had to uninstall the BCM before I could open Outlook.

Subsequently I have tried to reinstall the Business Contact Manager from the
Original 2003
CD but it starts the install, runs briefly and close with a message that
the Business Contact Manager was not installed (obvious, eh!)

Can any one help. Should I uninstall SP2 and reinstall Business Contact
Manager and not install SP2? I can do this by restoring the system from an
archive prior to installing Office SP2 to a point when Business Contact
Manager was working OK.

The same thing happened just after I installed SP2! I tried repatedly to
re-install BCM, then Outlook 2003. I believe I have read that there is no way
to uninstall SP2.

After this happened I began to get an error message on statup that the SQL
Server was corrupted and to uninstall then reinstall. I have downloaded and
run the sql2kdesksp3.exe without success.
I hope someone has found a way to fix this.
