Cannot remove Business contact manager

I am using office 2007 and business contact manager. I am having a major
problem evertime outlook starts. A message continually pops up saying that
"Business Contact manager failed to initialize the common language Runtime.
The system cannot find the file specified".

I have tried to remove BCM in add/remove programs but it crashes and won't
uninstall. I have also tried microsoft's suggestions on how to manually
remove it , which i have done but this message still appears evertime outlook
starts.

I have also tried to remove microsoft.net via add/remove programs and it
also crashes.

I can't reinstall either of these programs.

I have manually deleted all folders relating to BCM and it still appears.

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling office 2007 and the message
still appears.

It would appear that there is some major corruption but is there any way to
completely wipe all traces of BCM and microsoft.net and start the
reinstallation process again.

Failing all of this i guess I will have to reformat the computer but I am
hoping to avoid this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joeb,

Did you ever find a solution. I have the same problem. I have been trying to
get Contact Manager off of my machine foro monthes now. MSFT says not to use
Add/Remove , which I found out after the fact. I cannot get BCM nor the SQL
Server Express off and they both broken and complain perpetually when I start
Outlook.
