intel core q6600
2gb memory
asus p5n32-e mobo
geforce 8800gtx

problem is I have get the system I want I can get from 3 places (well Mesh don't do the processer but close enough)

pcspecialist.co.uk
cyberpowersystems.co.uk
meshcomputers.com

problem I have got is that I can't find any recent reviews about any of the site. So I was wondering if any of you have used recently used these sites recently?

cyberpowersystems.co.uk doesn't seem to work, are you sure that is the URL?

Try http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/

AllyMelmac, Maybe you should do a search of the Forums, there are a few different guys here who have bought from all three retailers. :)

Ask 10 people who their favourite supplier is and you will get 10 different answers - although most people will agree about Mesh.

There's a couple on Triplex's list that probably would not be my first choice although they are perfectly reputable companies (No offence TD).
I happily dealt with CCl Computers for a few years and a firm called Gladiator Computers gets good reviews although I personally have not purchased from them.
If you need memory then try Crucial.

The only PC I have bought was from Gateway many years ago, and ComputerElectronics (who are now called Cube247.co.uk) a few years ago.

Cube are a small company that use only quality branded componants, and have a real person to talk to on the phone unlike many :thumb:

As for Mesh - I suggest you research carefully ;)

I would usually DIY it but not got the time at the moment an needing a new pc by the end of this quarter so this is the first time I have bought a pre made up system in about 10 years.

I really not sure about mesh the systems don't seem to look up to much, I am being drawn to cyberpower not choise for components and pcspecialist are cheaper which is not a bad thing

I've had a fair deal of experience with MESH over the last few years.

I had a problem when I first bought the machine, but they did sort it out (after a bit of pressure and threats) and it's been OK ever since. :thumb:

I think I was lucky because I got the direct line for Tech Support, and the guys behind the front screen were quite decent and helpful!

HOWEVER, I think others have experienced the poorer side of MESH if the comments on PCR are anything to go by!

In answer to the first post:

No.
No.
No.

I think they're all crap and I don't think much of Micro Direct either.

I base my opinions on feedback from all over about these companies and in some cases personal experience.

I would have frowned at E-Buyer in the past but from the genuine feedback of Forum members here it really does seem as if they've got their act together.

And if you even consider using Mesh you should book a place in advance at the funny farm :)

The only supplier I'd consider buying a ready made system from online would be Novatech.

For parts Kustom PC's and ChillBlast are the best and have the most integrity and coming a close third is Overclockers UK, which is where I actually buy most of my stuff.

I've used Komplett as well, they've never let me down.

Good luck :)
