Hardware Wizard

I installed a Canon camera hardware CD on my laptop through the "Found New
Hardware Wizard". The install went in ok, but now everytime I turn on my
laptop, the hardware wizard re-appears and I don't have a clue how to stop it
from doing this eveytime I turn on my laptop! It's starting to get very
annoying. I Googled this problem, but got a lot of different answers, so I
thought I would see what the MVP's have to say. Any idea's on how to stop
this from happening? Thanks!

Try control-panel,add new hardware, use the manual search option & find
youre hardware, try reinstalling it.Also, open device mgr, locate the hardware,
expand the tree,R.click,properties,and/or try updating driver auto.

check the website and see if there is a newer version of the driver
available, just remember to remove all traces of the install before
trying to reinstall it. And follow the instructions carefully, with
some USB devices you have to start the driver install without the
device plugged in to the usb

Wow, does it fit in there? I only thought Virtual Cd's would fit
inside software.

Well, don't have the hardware CD in the computer next time you
boot it up.
Or possibly if it really need to be in there, disable
AutoPlay/AutoRun.

LOL, yeah-yeah, i know. It's not so funny when you're actually
having the problem. Sorry, got no real solutions to offer.
