hiya

ive got my new hardrrive its a 320gb western digital

i formatted it (quickly) using windows disk management
ive just finished copying over 100gb

bascially i just noticed that the harddrive in disk management says that
the layout is simple
and that the type is 'dynamic'

i have two harrdrives on this machine
one is for the operatiing system on this its written as layout 'partition'
and type 'basic'

can someone tell me if what ive done is dangerous?

im not so sure im alrite
i want to make sure that leaving it as dynamic is fine!

this harrdrive comes up as a 298gb harrdrive id expect this to be about rite
should i format it again so that it remains as a basic type? or leave it?

please help as i need to copy over more files

thanks
