Hard Drive Problem in BIOS

H

My motherboard BIOS isn't recognizing my hard drive after I screwed
around with the settings(its pretty messed up). How can I set
everything what it used to be so the motherboard can recognize the hard
drive from the master IDE.

PS I could give you the specs and all but I in kind of a hurry but I'll
post it if its necessary.

There ought to be a three pin header with a jumper on it. You move the
jumper to the other two pins and that clears the BIOS. Then you put it
back. Look in the manual to discover which ones.

See motherboard manual for "Clear CMOS" jumper.
Or set the drive channels and detection to "auto".

Thanks for quoting adequate context, so that we can know what
problem, and for presenting the solution, so future readers can
know the solution. You are a very useful contributor to this
thread.

Just in case, I hope you can recognize sarcasm.
