hard-drive issue

question I had a harddrive that I was using and I made my
username and files private.. I in about 2 month's I bought
a new case motherboard, harddrive and so on... I wanted
to put that old hard-drive in as a slave drive. in which
I did do that. When I went to select my files in the old
hard-drive (my user name files) get keep giving me access
denied. I have tried all the other resouces to get the
files... (sharing, take ownership,etc ) but no cigar..

need help....
