Hello, I have bought a new hard disk. The bios hasn't particular options to
partition and fdisk tells there's no disk, he's correctly inserted. What
more to do?

======================

If the new drive is the first (or only) hard drive,

1. Make a boot diskette (if you don't already have one).
2. Connect the new drive.
3. Enter the definition into the BIOS (the ENTIRE drive).
The BIOS knows nothing about partitions.
4. Boot the system using the boot diskette.
5. Run FDISK.
Define the partitions.
Format the partitions.
Put the O/S on the new partitions.
6. Remove the diskette.
7. Boot the new system.
