I played it a little tonight. I still on first level and I think I'm stuck.

When you travelling down a shaft on that platform thingie a big chunk of metal comes hurtling down, smashes the platform and we both die.

I've tried grabbing one of them energy balls with the grav gun and firing that at it to stop it, also tried leaping off platform, I die every time.

Ok, how you do that thing? :D

Maybe it'll look simpler in the morning, I be tired now.

Instead of using an energy sphere just use the gun to grab the chunk of metal and then repel it away from u :D

A hint tho, more than one piece falls down so keep ya eyes peeled high ;)

Proper seen my backside

Ok i've proper seen my bum

Approx 2hours of gameplay???? WTF

Tell you what I wont be spending another £15 to see another installment if it only lasts that long. 18 months and we get 2 - 3 hours worth of gameplay on a standalone disk. Waste of money!

Last words "On no the transmission is going out"

Pffft, how about more game time Valve thats what we want!!

Finished this after a few hours too - was a good bit of gameplay, but quite disappointed there was no car/boat/buggy parts in it and very short gameplay.

£5 download option and it would have been about right, £15 seems a bit steep for 2/3 hours though. Annoyingly, I like HL2 so much that I'd do it again for episode 2 ;)

I thought it would have been twice as long as it was with some extra levels in it - as the very last one involved ferring people for 20 mins back and forward.

Still good, but expected a bit more :)

Hmm, thought it may be as much :(

I'm on the part just after the garage/antlions/cars bit, where I have to power the lift up, stumbling around in the dark.

Trying to make my way back, so many zombines, finding it hard, may have to start the level again :D

Trouble is, Half Life 1 & 2 are probably the best fps games ever that I'm sure Valve know they can get away with taking the Mickey.

All reviews I've read praise the gameplay/engine/concept but are unanimous that it's way too short.

Yep they have proper taken the P*ss on this one i'm afraid

They will learn the hard way when sales for the next installment are halved

Yeah guiding people into a train station for 20mins was a bit sad actually

If you need a hand in the garage let me know i'll tell you where to look :)

Actually im really enjoying this game.
Although it seems short, im going to get alot of replay value from it. Its what i wanted half life 2 to be, for example the street fighting and the knowledge that alex there for me about 95% of the time.

If this is a taster of whats to come, i cant wait :D

At £15 a pop your welcome to it

I wont be buying any more installments if they keep it at that price
