Guidelines like pagemaker ?????

Hi,
I am trying to place guidelines on my word documents like I can in
pagemaker. In pagemaker I just grab a spot off the ruler and have a
blue guidelines for typesetting accuracy. Can i do anything like this
in word.

Hi Michael

don't know much about pagemaker
but if you display the drawing toolbar (view / toobars / drawing)
then click on the Draw icon
then click on the Grid option
there's a tick box for displaying gridlines on your document.

As JulieD said, you can use the drawing grid, but beyond that you have to
realize that Word is not a page layout application; it is word processing
software. There are other approaches to "typesetting accuracy" in Word,
however.
