Guaranteed BSOD playing any game

Halapino

Anyone else have this problem?

No matter what game I play I will get a BSOD
with '(DRIVER_)IRCQ_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS', but my main
problem is that the 'driver' (If there is one) is almost
never the same. The only thing sharing an IRQ is my
Video card and an idle Ethernet card. The drivers that
sometimes get reported are usually video related, but
sometimes are printer, sound or nothing.

-Windows is up-to-date as per Windows Update
-gForce4 Ti4200 52, 45, and 44 drivers do the same thing
-all other drivers are up-to-date as per their
Manufacturers
-CPU and Memory tests have no erros after 24 hr run

Hi Halapino,

If you're playing online, you should move your Ethernet card
into another slot. If you have no slots free, make sure that the
card you swap the Ethernet card with is not one you use while
gaming.

IRQ conflicts do NOT exist in XP. However, it's my personal
opinion that it's faster and better overall to keep the multigaming
components of my system running on separate buses, and IRQ's.
