group options

I have a question about forms. My question is I have created a "list box" for
the controls in a form. However, I want these option to loook like an "option
group" due to a "list box" takes a lot of space in my form. I read about this
option group but I'm not sure if this will apply for controls since once I
created an "option group", but in my form appear not only the "option group"
but also the "list box".

I do not see how an options group would use less space on a form than a list
box. An options groups would display all the items contained in the list
box. A list box would display only the item selected unless you have it
sized to display everything.

Can you explain a bit more?
