Gray Scale Printing

B

Bernard Liengme

Select all the rows to be printed
Use the command Format | Conditional Formatting
In the dialog box, set to Formula Is and enter =MOD(ROW(),2)=1
This will colour rows 1,3,5 etc; if you want rows 2,4,5 etc use
=MOD(ROW(),2)=0
Now click the Format button on the dialog box; open the Patterns tab and
select the colour (or grey) that suits your need
Click OK twice and you're done
best wishes

1. The 'Auto Format' option on the Format menu has an alternating gray row option.
2. The free Excel add-in "Shade Data Rows" allows you to shade every nth row
or every nth group of rows or by cell value - choice of any color.
