Graphics card

I'm upgrading my graphics card soon, and for the price I'm
intending to pay I have whittled it down to a choice of 2:

Gainward nVidia FX5600 PowerPack Ultra780 (with 256mb DDR)

or

ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128mb DDR

I know this post is not a 'problem' as such, but I value
the views of all you people who frequent this NG!!

Both cards are good and should play the latest games without trouble.

Well, I have the little brother of the 5600 (the 5200) and have had no
issues with it at all. Also from Gainward.

ATI, I gave up on. When they work, they're great. When they don't, their
support doesn't listen to what you say and in general is a PITA.

Thanks for that, I am swaying more toward the nVidia card,
but had heard ATI had improved their drivers a great deal.

By the way, how is the Gainward for noise? I hear some of
the FX's sound like a Jumbo taking off!
