google groups url says I have spyware? hlp please!

I have been using the computer all day and haven't installed anything,
but in the last 2 hours, google groups is now telling me I have a
virus or spyware. I have shut down and cold booted, running Adaware,
spybot etc, Now I am in safe mode running both the programs (on
another computer) and I am still getting it. What is going on? I use
Firefox with IE minimally under XP.

Sounds like an advert to me. Is this Google Groups page offering a service
to remove alleged spyware for a fee?

Yes, but the problem is it won't let me go to google groups anymore.

There are lots of brand new hoaxes that just came out. One of them is,
[seems to be from] www.ymlp.com saying you have to send them more money
to keep your account active. I suppose

popular enough for the nasty boys to target it's users. They are even
harder to spot than previous hoaxes.
