Global-Finder.com default browser page

Chip

I am getting a default browser page at startup of MS
Explorer 6.x? titled http://global-finder.com/
No matter how many times I change the default browser back
(using tools- options)to Alta Vista.com which is what I
like to use, the next day my default browser has changed
back to http://global-finder.com/
I have all the latest NORTON Anti -virus updates and it
says I have no viruses after a full scan. Is this a virus?
Is anybody else getting this browser page by default or
are you aware of a virus that picks a random page and
makes it your browser default every day? Please reply to

Spyware Alert!

Go to:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location: Spyware and Hijackware Removal Support.
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?s=58cc4a5ac3deac78f26df0a5cf5fb4c2&showforum=11
If URL wraps, use this one: http://snurl.com/2ao4

Sign in, then copy and paste both files in your message.

Hi Chip,

Global-Finder (CoolWebSearch spyware). This is a trojan/spyware that hijacks
Internet Explorer start and search settings to one of several different web
sites

Download CoolWebSearch destroyer from here:
