Give working product keys! My trial key doesn't work! I can't act.

So YOU tell me then. Where do I go? I went through the circles and
followed the bread crumbs and this is what I get:

No-charge support is not available from Microsoft
The product ID number you entered is for a beta or trial version of
the product, not the full retail product. For help with your problem,
see your beta or trial kit (if you received one). You may also select
a different support option below.

The only telephone option costs $99. What other phone number is there?

This may come as a surprise to you, but Microsoft does actually have a Web
site!

Actually, you came in here with your first message being rude. And you went
downhill from there. If you had acted like a normal person and not gotten so
hysterical and abusive, I am sure your questions would have been answered
many hours ago.

I have been using the website and I get no support. All I get is that support
is not available for my product! Which website do YOU think will help?

I would suggest you investigate the use of Dreamweaver as
your web design tool since you are so disgusted with your
Microsoft Front Page experience.

Abusive? YOU are the one who told ME to "screw off"! Now just who was
being
abusive?

Besides you, you mean? Unfortunately, one can only make accusations
effectively when one is not guilty of the same. When one is equally guilty,
it comes off as hypocrisy.

I seem to be having the same problem. It looks like this group can't help me.
You all seem to be arguing.

Thank you, Rick. I seem to be having the same problem as grumpylady. Maybe I
will try Dreamweaver.

I'd go to support.microsoft.com and find the phone number for FrontPage.
I'd then call them and explain the issue to them. I'm sure they can help
you.

One word of advice; I'd use a bit more tact in that exchange than you used
here. ;)

It's a free country. I hope you have plenty of money. Oh, and be sure and
check out the Dreamweaver newsgroups while you're at it. You may be
surprised at how human they are over there too.

I would check the EULA and see what kinds of help you have
open to you. There may be remedies listed there, or a
mailing address for faulty products.

Dialing Microsoft for support seems to be the problem....how to dial.

I think people don't realize that Microsoft has a Web site where they can go
for information. Either that or they don't understand the meaning of the
word "public" in "microsoft.public.frontpage.client".

If you need some help with a product key then please email me at
(e-mail address removed) and I will see what I can do

Josh

P.S. I hope I can offer some help.

Why does it seem to me that posting this kind of response in a "Microsoft"
news group, which just happens to hosted on a "Microsoft" server is not the
**smartest** thing to do.
??

Off to refresh the "beverage of the hour" and then see what follows.

I have just started making my first site with NVU O/S editor and taught
myself HTML of sites such as three schools and alike.I'm told Frontpage is
good for learners, but I'm a single mum and would like to mess around with it
first before paying a few hundy dollars.Every time I press the trial order
for frontpage it tells me that the frontpage trials have been discontinued
and their are no other frontpage trials. I'll take the chance and buy the
full version,as I'm told its the best for beginners.I'm not trying to be
funny, but it does seem M/S is a bit tight with their trials.Maybe I'm
expecting too much!
