Ghost 10 and USB drives

I have created a restore point on a USB drive using Ghost 10. When I
boot from the Ghost CD, the USB drive is not available, so I cannot do a
restore (this was only a test, I don't need to restore currently).

How can I resolve the problem of not seeing my USB drive when booting
from the Ghost CD?

Have you contacted Symantec regarding this isssue? I use Ghost2003 and I
have no problems seeing USB Drives.

You may find that this is a BIOS issue.. boot into BIOS setup and look for
'USB enabled in DOS' or similar.. enable and then 'save and exit'..

I'm with Merlin only I'm using Ghost 10 and have no problem. Check you BIOS
and check with Symantec.

Contact the Author of the program you are having a problem with.

Thanks to all who responded. It turns out that Ghost was unhappy because
I had more than one USB device attached. As soon as I removed all of the
non-essential USB devices, Ghost found my USB hard disk, and recognized
the fact that the restore point was stored there.

You have to set your motherboard BIOS to include USB support at boot. Many
motherboards do not have the option to access USB devices at boot. The
issue you are experiencing is related to your motherboard, not to Ghost.
