Getting rid of Watermark?

P

PieBald

I have a copy of a word document, I use 2003, it appears to have a watermark
across it, it not security just blurb and I am not breaking any copyright,
but I seem unable to rid of it. I tried the watermark remove path no joy,
only seen in view-print
Any idea would be apprecaited, I've looked at headers and footers etc. but
nothing seems to be linked to these and I cannot see it as a text box. Thanks
very much in advance

A watermark is simply a graphic with its layout property set to 'behind
text'. You should be able to select the graphic with the white arrow pointer
from the drawing toolbar. If the watermark appears on all pages then it will
almost certainly be in the header/footer. There can be several
header/footers associated with a document. You must select and delete it
from each header/footer it separately appears in.
