Getting an email after an install?

Hi all,

I have an important email message I need to retrieve on
a W2KPro machine/hd. If I put the hd into a different
computer and do a new install/not new format, will I
still be able to retrieve the email?

Maybe... What program is the email stored in ? (Outlook, Thunderbird,
etc.)

Best bet is to put the drive in a second computer as a slave drive and
grab the files that way. Doing a reinstall on a second machine is
risky, at best.
