get modem to autohangup

I was helping (?) a friend with her MSN connection on a new XP Home
computer. She connects through a dial up. Everything is now working fine,
but when we exit the browser (she is using IE 6), she stays online. She now
has to go to the online symbol in the lower right corner of her taskbar (it
looks like two telephones) and right click the symbol and choose Disconnect.

What do we need to do to get the connection to end automatically when she
closes her browser???

Thank you

IE | Tools | Internet Options | Connections | Settings | Advanced
Check "Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed"
