generating name list

I am a medical transcriptionist, and within one file I
have several pages, one for each patient. I would like to
generate a patient name list on one page for each patient
I type. Is there an easier way that me just typing the
names manually? It seems like there should be a way to
maybe have a field for the patient name to go into, and
after I am through with all my patients I could click
something and it would generate a list. I know this is
possible in Word Perfect, as someone I know can do this
under tools, reference, and list. I just can't find how
to do this in Word. Thanks!!! Lisa

Hi, lisa. You could use an XE field to mark each patient name, then
craete a list of the marked names by clicking on Insert | Reference |
Index and Tables | Index.
