Complicated question about forms

Maybe not so complicated to some of you, but here's the scenario

Say I have two documents , call them "A" and "B"
Document A is a prescription form for a certain medication that lack
patient details
Document B is a medical file for a specific patient

In order to make document A a valid prescription, you have to copy som
of the patient's details from document B into document A

Is it possible, using Word, to make a drop-down box in document B tha
will allow me to choose from a list of medications, and based on m
selection will copy the necessary details from document B int
document A, creating a new prescription for the selected medicatio
with the patient details from document B

I will greatly thank anyone who can help

p.s
I use Word 2007

You can use IncludeText fields to insert bookmarked items from your
prescription document based on the content of your dropdown form fields -
http://www.gmayor.com/SelectFile.htm covers various methods and should get
you started.
