game not working in XP professional

I have MotoGP2 demo version bike racing game on CD. the Game works well, previously in Windows ME, but when I install and run it on Windows XP, when it starts,the system usage goes 100%, the bikes disappears and the game hangs. I have also changed display adapter compatible with Windows XP professional. what should I do.

Hit start, all programs, accessories then click on the compatibility
