ftp password

How can I remove an FTP password that is saved? I can do so with a
third-party removal tool, but cannot find a built-in option to remove the
cached credentials. -thanks in advance for you help.

Simply delete the password as saved and re-enter... that should get it
sorted.

The prompt does not appear once the credentials are saved so the password
cannot be accessed to delete.

You've got a couple of choices; empty your password cache completely or
track down a utility that can read and edit the encrypted passwords - this
utility should let you selectively delete passwords
