FTP issues

I have a Toshiba laptop (Satellite 2595XDVD) win 98 ie 6
SP1.

I do not have the option in advanced settings under
browsing for"Enable folder view for FTP sites"

I can't access an FTP site that I need for work but can't
seem to get support internally.

Anything might help!!?
