FTP connection closed by remote host

Hi all,

FTP sessions are closing due to the dreaded connection closed by remote
host. Clients on the same subnet can ftp "get" no problem. When you try
from another subnet, the connection will close on you. Users from the
outside are getting connection reset by peer.

It sounds like the FTP server (IIS?) is blocking connections by IP or
subnet. Check that on the directory security tab of the FTP site's
properties dialog.
