I own a copy of FP 2003, but broke the CD; is a trial download available and,
if so, can I activate the trial using my product code?

thanks in advance . . .

http://www.microsoft.com/products/i...3-92c9-4807-be9c-515a0d152415#Developer Tools
is the trial software page but it doesn't list Frontpage 2003 at all.

However, this page,
http://www.microsoft.com/nz/evaluate/products/frontpage.mspx (Microsoft, New
Zealand) apparently still offers it on CD. I don't know if there's
restrictions, such as having to be a NZ resident or something.....perhaps
they only mail the CD to those in NZ rather than overseas, or even if the
information is accurate and current.

If the trial is still available (download or on CD) then you can convert the
trial to full licence, using your CD Key number. This link
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/831023/en-us?spid=2514&sid=247 specifically
deals with the conversion process.

The alternative is Expression Web (which replaced Frontpage 2003)
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/download.aspx?key=web for the
Trial (90 days). Naturally you will have to purchase a retail licence/copy
and you can convert the trial to the full licence. The Upgrade is $90
(thereabouts) US$. I don't think the upgrade actually checks for a
previous edition of Frontpage, because EW is not a direct upgrade of FP.
