Frontpage 2003 Tools - Options won't open

Jo

I'm trying to access Options under the Tool menu in FrontPage and I keep
getting this message - "Unsupported operation was attempted". If I click on
OK nothing happens and I have to use the Task Manager to shut down FrontPage.
Can anyone please suggest why this is happening and how I can fix it???
Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. I ran FPCleaner on my computer and it didn't solve the
problem so I'm back to the beginning! Its happening on my workmates
computers as well so its a network issue now...
Thanks again for your assistance!

Sounds like you may have a corrupt tool bar or rouge Addin causing the error
- Open FP and Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins,
- Close FP and in Windows Explorer find and delete the FP tool bar setting file (CmdUI.PRF), it is usually in
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\FrontPage\State
- then restart FP
