Front USB ports not recognizing Rio MP3 player on A7N8X non deluxe

I never said they were, but that doesn't mean that there wasn't
something wrong with the way Antec originally designed their front USB
port modules, the only difference I can see is it looks like they
changed a few capacitor values on the newer modules, other then that
they seem to be identical.

Sure but I had problems and found that some of the contacts in the front
ports were not making full contact.
I was sent a new front USB board and cable and the board was exactly the
same as the non working one but the cable was the one with seperate
connectors and were different colors to mine.(mine had twin cable(four wires
in each))with the connector the same as the one on the rear USB port plate.
Also it came with one connector ripped off(damaged) so I used the cable from
the other one.
That solved the port problem.

I have the SX 835 II case.
The cable coming from the front USB ports is a dual cable with 5 individual
connectors each...a real pain to get on properly. Every other device I have
works on the front ports but the test I did pretty much says it is the front
ports.

If you go to the Antec-Inc site and fill in the online form to report the
fault they will get back to you for your contact info(name&address).
I had a reply within 3 days and four days later the replacement got here.
If not in the states then still go to that site as the support for other
countries is not to good(slow).

I called their 1-800 number and asked to talk to tech support.
I had the part in 2 days.
