French vs. Hebrew-English incompatibilities??

I was sent an access databasea application that was
developed on a french version of access and I am using an
english-hebrew version of access (on a windows english-
hebrew platform). When I try to open and use the database
I get all sorts of errors...

Is this due to incompatibility between the two versions?
Is there some way I can overcome any incompatibilities and
use the database?

no and yes ..
the problem is that somebody decided to "nationalize" parts of access (as
they've done to VBA for that matter)
for instance all "macro" commands "forms" & some functions
All versions are able to interpret a database created using US Access (and
US word templates - for that matter) - but they are not able to interpret
between nationalized versions
(nor is the US version for that matter)
Instead of beeing annoyed by this, I do all my development on US office
products - & is thus capable of distributing them to anybody ...
