Hello Dario,

You may try our WinCatalog Standard.
http://www.wincatalog.com/standard.html

It is not free, but you will get not only Audio CD catalog. Using
WinCatalog Standard you will be also able to catalog your MP3 files (it
can extract ID3 Tags), ZIP/RAR archives (it can scan inside archives),
regular files on your disks and even non computer items like books.

We have Christmas discounts now. Please contact us using this link if
you have any questions: http://www.wincatalog.com/feedback.html

Merry Christmas!

I'm using CDAID sometimes to get the names of the tracks
(for creating a cover with M$WORD)

http://www.marvintec.com/en_cdaid.htm

Insert the CD
klick on "read cd info"
klick on "get cd info" ( now the progi connects to a cddb )
klick on "export cd info list" ( now the progi appends the info of the
current cd to a plain ascii or to a xml file )

If you like to make your own progi :
There is also a free library in the web for connecting to a cddb
At the moment I can't find the url.

Sorry, My mistake ...U got mail.
BTW
I also updated zipped file on my ftp area.
now CdBase.ocx is present.
You need to copy it in C:\windows\System32\

now CdBase.ocx is present.

I don't know anything about SmartDb and don't bother to try it out.
But you should notice that *.ocx files usually need to be registered
with the system. A right mouse click might bring up a context menu
entry <Register> for the file (inside Explorer). Else the command

REGSVR32 CdBase.ocx

should do. (Execute it from a command prompt inside the System32
directory.)
